NI Environment Link (NIEL) is seeking quotations to undertake consultations and research in relation to an exciting new project on Urban Green Spaces in Northern Ireland funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The aim of the project is to co-create a vision and action plan to 2030 for the future of Northern Ireland’s urban greenspaces.

To explore potential futures for urban greenspace access in Northern Ireland this will involve:

• Understanding needs, opportunities, and stakeholder views;
• Setting a course for a better future for urban greenspace through co-creation of a vision and action plan to 2030; and
• Building a community of leaders who understand and help to realise the multiple public benefits of high-quality urban greenspaces in a climate changing world.

The project will work with stakeholders to explore the potential for urban greenspace to play a future key role in addressing the health, climate and nature crises.
