UK Youth for Nature is running a week-long, volunteer-led series of virtual sessions, week commencing 26th September – “Silent Spring at 60″. Covering everything from nature-friendly farming to women in conservation, UKY4N are drawing on the messages of Silent Spring to upskill, unite and inform young people in this critical year for nature, with 10 year targets being set at COP15. Despite Silent Spring ’s huge influence since its publication in 1962, the situation for nature has undeniably worsened overall, but we recognise that 2022 could mark a turning point.
