On 21st April 2022, NIEL hosted an Environmental Hustings event in partnership with The Wildlife Trusts. Representatives from Northern Ireland’s political parties were invited to attend and provide information on their party’s environmental priorities and commitments.

The event was chaired by Seamus McKee and featured a range of questions on 3 main topics – Nature & Environment, Climate Crisis & Economy, and People & Wellbeing.
