Following the success of RE[act] Festival for a Sustainable Belfast in 2021, 2024 and 2025 (mini), the festival returns in this year with a full scale programme, bringing people and organisations together to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping our future.

RE[act] Festival 2026

This year, the festival is built around five interconnected themes:

People. Planet. Peace. Prosperity. Partnership.

Together, these themes recognise that creating a sustainable future is about more than climate action alone. It is about building stronger communities, protecting our planet, creating inclusive prosperity, fostering peace and collaboration, and working together to drive meaningful change.

RE[act] will bring together individuals, communities, businesses, organisations and changemakers through a programme of talks, workshops, interactive experiences, storytelling, networking and learning opportunities.

Our mission is to inspire people to take action, share ideas and build the skills, connections and confidence needed to help create a more just, sustainable and resilient future.

RE[act] Festival returns to Belfast from 9–15 November 2026.
