Funded through DAERA’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Programme, this scheme offers grants of £500–£2,000 to rural community-led, voluntary organisations.

It has been designed to help deliver on the PfG aim to build stronger, connected, resilient and prosperous rural communities where people want to live, work, visit and invest and DAERA’s own vision of ‘Developing a Net Zero nature positive future, supporting sustainable agriculture and thriving rural communities’.

Funding is available to implement energy efficiency measures / environmental improvements such as:

• Insulation
• LED lighting
• Energy saving appliances
• Planting of perennial trees, shrubs, flowers.

The scheme aligns with DAERA’s own vision of:

‘Developing a Net Zero nature positive future, supporting sustainable agriculture and thriving rural communities’
