Walking for All – Walk Leaders in All Communities

Description

Walking for All is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Targeting inactivity and social isolation in rural Ireland, together we’ll deliver a life enhancing programme of walking activities designed to appeal to a wide audience.

You’ll lead a short weekly walk in your community, making new friends while enjoying the great outdoors! You’ll get loads of support, with a dedicated Walking for All Officer on hand to help out whenever you need them. We offer significant training, personal and professional development opportunities, alongside the chance to help others in your community!

Purpose: Walking for All Walk Leaders plan, lead and support inclusive, community-based walks. They play a vital role in creating welcoming, safe and social walking experiences.

Supported by: Area Walking for All Officer
