Young Wild and Well is an innovative partnership between Ulster WildlifeBelfast Hills Partnership, and Barnardo’s NI. The project is designed to transform the lives of children and young people by connecting them with nature, supporting their mental health, wellbeing, and employability through meaningful outdoor experiences.

The Project Officer will lead the delivery of inspiring, nature-based programmes for children and young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

You will play a key role in bringing the Five Steps to Wellbeing to life through hands-on outdoor activities delivered in collaboration with youth groups, clubs and community organisations and primary school SEN provisions.

This is a dynamic role combining direct delivery, training, and project management.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract to 31 May 2029.

This project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
