National Trust – Membership Recruitment Volunteer – Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge

Membership matters to us! Are you passionate about conservation and a natural at sales, or simply someone who loves meeting and chatting with new people? Our membership recruiters are great at welcoming our current members and inspiring new members to join, which means we can deliver more projects at Carrick-A-Rede.

As a membership recruiter you will be based at the stunning Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, promoting membership. There may be opportunities to operate off-site e.g. at other National Trust sites and also at external events.

Have you ever thought of helping the environment and want to make a difference but struggle to find time for volunteering? Do you want to contribute but can’t commit to regular hours?  Then we this is the perfect opportunity for you! Saving the planet shouldn’t cramp your style – simply join in to suit your schedule! We are on the look-out for passionate individuals like you to join the team and discover the joy of flexible volunteering.

Do you live relatively locally to the Causeway Coast? As a conservation charity aiming to reduce team carbon emissions we would love to hear from potential volunteers who do not need to travel too far to volunteer with us.

This role will suit you if you are…

  • Someone who loves meeting new people – there’ll be plenty every day!
  • Confident at approaching people and selling to members of the public.
  • Up for a challenge and like to reach a target – it’s not always easy, but you won’t mind that!
  • Organised, and good with technology/paperwork.
  • Interested in learning more about the heritage and charitable sectors.
  • Looking for a great experience to add to your CV.
  • Already a member and want to tell everyone how fantastic it is.
  • Okay about being on your feet and walking around the site throughout a shift.
