Gentle guided woodland walks to relax, breathe, and reconnect with nature through, calm conversation, and slow-paced time outdoors.

Step away from screens, traffic, and the noise of everyday life to enjoy a gentle, guided walk through the woodland of Ards & North Down. The sessions are designed to help you relax, breathe, and reconnect with nature, with yourself, and with like-minded others.

These Woodland Wellness Walks are slow-paced, social and welcoming. Each session blends mindful walking, simple breathing and awareness practices, and light conversation, helping those who participate to feel more present, grounded and refreshed.

Sessions usually include:

* A short welcome and gentle arrival

* Simple breathing and mindfulness exercises

* A guided walk through the woodland, with attention to sights, sounds and sensations

* Opportunities to chat in pairs or small groups while walking

* Gentle music or sound (such as guitar or hand-pan) at moments along the way

* A relaxed group closing to bring everyone back together

Everything is optional – there’s no pressure to share, speak, or move faster than feels comfortable. These sessions are about slowing down, enjoying the outdoors, and finding a sense of ease in good company.

Participants are encouraged to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, as the sessions run in most weather, rain or shine. If you have been feeling stressed, tired, or simply want a peaceful hour in nature, Woodland Wellness Walks offer a simple, restorative way to reset and reconnect.
