Plant-Pollinator Relationships of Wetlands

In conjunction with Owen Beckett from the National Biodiversity Data Centre (NBDC), the BSBI’s Botanical Skills Northern Ireland Project will be facilitating a training event on plant-pollinator relationships of wetland habitats at Peatlands Park from 10:00am to 16:00pm on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

The morning will consist of an indoor session detailing what plant-pollinator relationships are and the diversity of plants and their insect pollinators that you can expect to find in wetland habitats like Peatlands Park. The rest of the day will be field-based at Peatlands Park aimed at studying plant-pollinator relationships in the field.
