Summary:

Join us for a volunteering session and biodiversity walk at our amazing site. Come along and see what volunteering with TCV is all about!

Activities planned:

The Green Gym session involves a mix of growing and conservation activities- there is something for everyone! This session will include a one hour biodiversity walk around the site from 1:00pm – 2:00pm.

Intended Audience: All ages* and abilities**.

Age Limits: *Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Requirements – clothing, public transport options, parking etc:

Knockbracken Green Gym is situated in Knockbracken Healthcare Park. If you type TCV Knockbracken into Google Maps, it will take you right there. There is parking near the site within the healthcare park and good bus connections to the Saintfield Road with a short walk through the healthcare park to the site. There is no café on site so volunteers would need to bring lunch, but I do bring tea, coffee and biscuits. The site also has disabled parking if required. The group is very low-key and friendly, no gardening experience necessary 🙂 Please let me know if you are planning on coming along and if you have any further questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.

**This is an open volunteering session so everyone is welcome to come along, however, no one with a previous violent conviction would be allowed to attend.
