Dr James Warnock (NIEA) addresses 3.2 Unit AS 2: Human Geography, Item 2(b) “Planning in Rural Environments, with reference to the Mournes.
This talk will be delivered by Dr James Warnock, Natural Environment Division | Northern Ireland Environment Agency.
Dr Warnock will discuss the effectiveness of Areas of Special Scientific Interest and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Northern Ireland. He will also ask why there are no National Parks in Northern Ireland. The Mourne Mountains will be discussed as a key case study.
