Starting in January, Beth Frazer has taken up post as the Education for Sustainable Development Forum Officer. Previously Beth delivered the Heritage 4 Health Project in NIEL.

The Education for Sustainable Development Forum was established to work together in partnership to develop positive attitudes and change behaviour towards the environment with the aim of enhancing the profile of environmental education, the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Following on from the great work Iona and the committee haven already achieved, more recently, ESDF are working with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful on EARTH Hub. Beth will be involved in plans and set up of EARTH Hub and NIEL will be contributing to the ongoing content of EARTH Hub through the ESDF. The ESDF committee have met and steps are being taken to continue the work of education for sustainability in Northern Ireland.
