Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful works closely with central and local government, businesses, communities and schools to improve local environmental quality (LEQ) through taking action that delivers sustained behavioural change. We deliver campaigns tackling littering and other anti–social behaviour, LEQ monitoring, attitudal surveys, the TIDY Business programme, environmental education (eg, Eco–Schools) and community–based practical action through the Clean Coast programme. We also operate Northern Ireland’s beach awards, including the Green Coast and Seaside Awards and the prestigious international Blue Flag.
