The Vernacular Architecture Group visits Northern Ireland between Tuesday 11 to Saturday 15 June 2024. UAH have helped organise Thursday’s itinerary and have a number of tickets available for the day. This includes a visit to a number of historic thatched and vernacular buildings. Ticket price includes lunch, bus ticket and visits. Below is an outline of the day. The bus meets at the front of Stranmillis Cottage.

9:00 – Bus departs Stranmillis College

10:00 – Arrives at Dan Winter’s Cottage, Derryloughan Road

11.20 – Arrival at Kilmore Cottage, Co. Armagh

12.25 – Arrival at Ardress house to learn about Frizzell’s Cottage

14.50 – Arrival at Coyle’s Cottage, Moortown

15.50 Arrival at Kingsmill Cottage
