Heritage Day is a leading sector conference run by the Heritage Alliance for over 10 years. It is a unique forum for heritage leaders, staff and volunteers to hear decision-makers voices, gain skills and foster connections. It generates sector-wide interest and attracts leaders and professionals at organisations from across the heritage sector, in its broadest sense, from charities to government departments, academia, funders, and commercial organisations. Heritage Day showcases the latest insights, resources and opportunities.

Held on Thursday 7th March, 9:00 – 19:00, it’s a hybrid conference, in-person at St John’s Church Waterloo, London and streamed live to virtual delegates.

The main conference will be steamed live between 10:00 – 17:30. Additional content will be streamed during the afternoon break 15:30 – 16:10.

Conference Overview

The conference is designed to draw together and reflect the breadth and depth of the sector, stimulate strategic thinking, deliver high level insights, highlight emerging trends and current challenges.

Keynote speeches from the Heritage Minister and the new Chair of Historic England, Lord Neil Mendoza will complement a day of panels, presentations and workshops. In-person delegates will have access to two exhibition and networking zones and additional recorded content will be featured for virtual delegates. The winners of the Ecclesiastical Heritage Heroes Awards 2023 will be announced, and an evening drinks reception will celebrate the sector’s achievements.
