Consultant Required: Accessibility and Inclusion Report – Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust Northern Ireland are looking for a consultant with specialist experience of countryside access for all to investigate the current and future opportunities for developing greater access and inclusion at Mourne Park for people with disabilities and additional needs.

The appointed consultant will have proven experience of working with people with disabilities and additional needs. They will be expected to run a series of enjoyable and meaningful workshops and site visits with community groups that will enable them to fully engage and participate in the creation of the report. The consultant will ensure participants expectations are managed in line with what can realistically be achieved on a historically and scientifically sensitive, designated site whilst ensuring the outcomes are lead by the participants’ own experiences and ideas.

Deadline for questions and requests for site visits with staff (dependant on capacity) – 22/01/2024
WT response to questions – 29/01/2024
ITT submission deadline – 12/02/2024
Evaluation – 14/02/2024
Contract award & feedback to unsuccessful bidders – 16/02/2024
Potential start date – 04/03/2024
Project completion date – 31/05/2024
