We can build a better future… 17 February 2021
Act like your future depends on it and ask NI Finance Minister to fund a Green Recovery

Together we can build a better, greener future. Can you help?
Do you have two minutes to help RSPB NI ask the Finance Minister to establish a Green Recovery Fund for Northern Ireland?
Nature doesn’t just lift our spirits: we need it for the food we eat and the air we breathe; to help combat climate change and so much more. But nature in Northern Ireland is at a crisis point.
RSPB NI is calling for a Green Recovery from the Covid–19 pandemic so we can turn the tide on nature’s decline and revive our world. A Green Recovery will ensure that public money and Covid–19 rescue packages not only rebuild our economy but address the nature and climate emergencies too – creating a lasting recovery.
Right now, the Finance Minister is making challenging choices about Northern Ireland’s 2021 – 2022 spending plans. If enough of us speak up, we have a huge opportunity to influence his decision and ensure he funds a better future so that people and nature can thrive.
This is an opportunity we can’t afford to miss!
A Green Recovery Fund will ensure that public money and Covid–19 rescue packages not only revive our economy, but restore nature, help reduce carbon emissions and create much–needed green jobs.
Will you join us in asking the Finance Minister to establish a Green Recovery Fund for Northern Ireland to revive our world? If enough of us speak up, we have the power to influence the Minister’s decision and ensure he funds a better future for all.
Don’t imagine a better future; insist on it. Act now.
