Social Finance Workshops 15 December 2015

Working in partnership with New Philanthropy Capital, NIEL will be hosting a series of workshops in January 2016 to consider the potential for social investment to support the activity of the environment NGO sector In Northern Ireland…

Training

The workshops represent the next stage of the research supported by Building Change Trust and will build on the key survey findings which identified:

  • 60% of respondents felt that access to social investment in the future will be ‘very important’ or ‘fairly important’
  • 50% of survey respondents rated their knowledge of social investment as ‘poor’
  • 70% felt that a barrier to accessing social finance is a lack of knowledge about who to approach and what is available
