QUB Higher Level Apprenticeships 20 July 2021

The QUB School of Natural and Built Environment has been successful in its application to the Department of Education to introduce Higher Level Apprenticeships (HLA) for both MSc courses in Planning at Queen’s

This scheme covers fee costs to complete the MSc programmes part–time (a day a week over two years) for employees working for NI companies in planning–related sectors. DfE will expect the staff member to be released a day a week during term time and given a new title on successful completion.

This scheme would be suitable for an established staff member gaining a new qualification or a new recruit who could learn on the job and at university.

The programmes are MSc City Planning & Design, which has a strong urban design, global challenges and live projects–focus and MSc Planning & Development, which is a fully RTPI – and RICS – accredited conversion programme for applicants with any previous training.

There will be an information webinar on Tuesday 27th July at 5:30pm – If this would be of interest to you, please contact Neil Galway – n.galway@qub.ac.uk
