Policy & Projects Officer 13 October 2020

A highly motivated, committed and competent individual is required to support Northern Ireland Environment Link (NIEL) to deliver on a range of environmental policy objectives.

The main purpose of this role is :

– to support and develop NIEL’s policy work so that the organisation as a whole can influence regional, UK and international policy which can impact upon the natural and built environment of Northern Ireland.

– Help develop a ‘Nature Targets Advocacy Campaign’ aimed at influencing the development of the UK’s negotiating position for the Convention on Biological Diversity COP 15 negotiations.

The post is temporary 6 – 9months. Secondments will be considered for this post

This recruitment exercise will be used to fill related posts over the coming 12 months
