Be inspired by the outdoors! 28 March 2018

Field Studies Council works with people of all ages to teach them about the natural world. FSC has recently opened a second Northern Ireland location, Tollymore in Newcastle, County Down to deliver fantastic fieldwork and outdoor learning opportunities for schools (via Field Studies Council)

FSC

The site is at the foot of the iconic Mourne Mountains, within walking distance of river and woodland field sites and in reach of the coast. It is part of the National Outdoor Centre and boasts excellent facilities. Experienced FSC teaching staff deliver curriculum–focused courses leaving teachers free to support students and enjoy the experience.

FSC Tollymore joins FSC Derrygonnelly in County Fermanagh to deliver hugely beneficial outdoor learning experiences to students.

Recent visitors Hazelwood College said: “Great day out with the class, brought the river theory to life for them. All our data gathered for controlled assessment write up back at school. Look forward to coming back.”
