Dormant Accounts Fund Update 23 October 2019

The Dormant Accounts Fund will be used to increase capacity, resilience and sustainability in the Northern Ireland Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector (via The Community Fund)

Under Section 22 of the Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Act 2008, we will distribute money under direction from the Department of Finance to increase capacity, resilience and sustainability in the Northern Ireland Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector.

These funds are not derived from National Lottery activity.

To ensure this funding has maximum impact in communities across Northern Ireland, we are now consulting with the sector, with a view to opening the fund in early 2020.

What are we consulting on?

Based on the policy directions, we have developed this consultation framework. We are asking you to review this framework and tell us what you think.

How can I respond?
