Webinar – Chemicals Stakeholder Event – REACH

Wednesday 10 March 2021 - 10/03/21

Online

Hosted by the Department for the Economy, the event will include information on the new UK REACH regime and will focus on the actions that NI Businesses need to do in order to be complaint and gain access to the GB market and maintain access to EU Market

The Department for the Economy (DfE) held a Chemicals webinar in December 2020, which proved to be popular and based on feedback provided at that event, now intend to host a series of follow up webinars to cover the actions that businesses, who deal with chemicals, need to take to keep their business compliant following the Brexit transition period. These follow up events aim to consolidate important information as we move into the new ways of working.

The 1 hour session on Wednesday 10th March from 11.00am – 12.00pm will include a speaker from Defra who will provide the latest information. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask Defra practical questions most relevant to their businesses.

The event is free and open to all businesses, business representative organisations, and anyone with an interest in these REACH regimes and how businesses in Northern Ireland need to prepare for it.
