The course is free of charge but you will have to cover your own travel and subsistence. As places are limited please register here via Eventbrite by 20th February.

Log Frame training
An agenda is attached. The workshop will share techniques for improving the clarity of purpose and justification for projects, with the overall aim of increasing the quality of LIFE bids and thus the likelihood of success in securing funding support. Previous attendees have found the course to be very helpful in developing their LIFE projects.

What are Logical Frameworks?
Logical Frameworks were originally developed in the 1960s for project planning purposes and are widely used by project managers. It summarises the most important aspects of a project in a succinct, logical manner. The advantages of Log Frame include:

  • Setting out the project elements and logical links between them;
  • Well used, they provide an excellent way of developing an idea into a clear, achievable project and summarising the main elements of a project in a simple, standardised format;
  • Providing a framework against which you can monitor and evaluate project progress;
  • Enable the consequences of changes in a project to be planned and assessed; and
  • Making reporting processes easier and clearer.
