NI Science Festival 2018

Thursday 15 February 2018 - 25/02/18

Various, see website for details

The NI Science Festival returns for another 11 days of amazing events focusing on the wonders of science between 15 – 25 February 2018. This year we will offer over 180 events focusing on digital technology, engineering, chemistry, the natural world and much more.

The Festival programme is the product of some truly amazing support from our funders and event partners but in order to make this coming year a success, we need an equally amazing army of volunteers to help throughout the 11 days. Last year our team of volunteers were exceptional and we hope to equally have a great bunch of science and event enthusiasts to join our team again.

As a Festival volunteer you will be will be asked to help out at various events, with tasks such as registration queries, ticketing, visitor surveys and general duties. You will be provided with a Festival T–shirt and to say thank you, we will be hosting a volunteers party on the final night.

If you are interested volunteering over the festival period and becoming part of our team, please fill out our on–line volunteer form below and come along to one of our briefing sessions:

  • Monday 29 January 2018, Black Box, Belfast @ 6.00pm
  • Tuesday 30 January 2018, Black Box, Belfast @ 6.00pm
  • Thursday 1 February, 2018, Nerve Centre, Derry/Londonderry @ 11.00am
