Natural Capital Finance & Investment Conference 2021

Wednesday 6 October 2021 - 07/10/21

Online

Nature–based finance is now firmly on the agenda for Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as further afield. The fourth Natural Capital Finance & Investment Conference on 6th–7th October 2021 will bring you the full picture from the fast–emerging market and showcase the very best of the project pipeline from around the UK.

This leading event is brought to you by the Ecosystems Knowledge Network, a non–profit that specialises in equipping people to deliver wellbeing and prosperity through a healthy natural environment. This year’s online conference will be fully interactive and offers an unrivalled networking opportunity in the specialist field of natural capital finance and investment. The programme is designed for finance, environmental and government professionals.

Delegate places are £55 per person if paying by credit or debit card. In addition, if three delegates from the same organisation are registered in the same booking, you’ll only be charged for the price of two. If you would like to book larger numbers, please contact us in advance via conference@ecosystemsknowledge.net

We are delighted to be working with sponsors the Green Finance Institute, The Nature Conservancy, Palladium, Federated Hermes and Bunloit Rewilding Ltd. to bring you the latest insights and best practice from natural capital finance leaders from across the various parts of the UK.

It is an event where professionals in financial services can engage alongside those directly involved in the stewardship of land, water and nature.

Delegates will gain invaluable insight into:

•    The opportunity that natural capital investment offers;

•    The challenges of growing the market;

•    ‘Real–life’ case studies and different finance models.

The growth of natural capital

Nature–based finance has a central role to play in our response to the dual biodiversity and climate crises, with the potential to unlock much needed finance to restore nature’s balance and ability to provide vital ecosystem services for the future. With the UN’s Biodiversity Conference COP15 and Climate Summit COP26 taking place in coming weeks, the UN is actively promoting the use of natural capital measures alongside GDP.

The UK is emerging as a leader in nature–based finance, heralded by initiatives such as the Scottish Conservation Finance Project and the Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund for England. Join us to see nature–based finance in action across the UK and understand how you can get involved.

We look forward to seeing you at the Natural Capital Finance & Investment Conference 2021!
