Leave No Trace Awareness Course

These workshops are designed for educators, students, outdoor professionals, and others interested in Leave No Trace skills and ethics. Workshop topics include the underlying concept of minimum impact recreation and the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace:
•Plan Ahead and Prepare
•Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces
•Dispose of Waste Properly
•Leave What You Find
•Minimize Campfire Impacts
•Respect Wildlife
•Be Considerate of Other Visitors
This course runs from 10:00 to 16:30 and includes a packed lunch. Participants will receive an Awareness Certificate upon completion of the course.
This course will be run by Centre staff with years of experience in outdoor learning and environmental education.
