Introduction to the Hands–On Heritage project

Thursday 12 November 2020 - 12/11/20

Online

Join UAH Chief Executive, Nikki McVeigh, and the Hands–On Heritage project officer Dr. Connie Gerrow in introducing you to the new ‘Hands–On Heritage’ project kindly supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

From traditional to technological, the project aims to transform the way UAH works to support people and communities to engage with the historic environment in NI. Over a 3 year period the project will provide a programme that combines the reinvigoration of traditional heritage engagement and outreach, with the introduction new digital engagement models and technologies, to better connect people and communities with built heritage. This includes:

  • Heritage: How To? Short Guides;
  • Heritage: How To? Toolkit;
  • Heritage Recording & Reporting App;
  • In Your Area Webpage;
  • Associated Engagement Activities.

Join us to find out how you can get involved! This is a FREE event but you must register to attend.

UAH uses Zoom as its digital conferencing tool (www.zoom.us).  Following registration a code will be emailed to participants to allow access to the lecture.  Please telephone the UAH office on 028 90550213 or email info@uahs.org.uk should you have any technical queries regarding joining the event.
