Around the world there is a growing awareness that creating ‘20 minute neighbourhoods’ (also known as ‘15 minute cities’, or ‘complete and compact’ neighbourhoods) can be an effective way of boosting local economies, improving people’s health, increasing social connections in communities, and tackling climate change. This FREE conference will look at what can be learned from places that have already successfully introduced 20 minute neighbourhoods and how the lessons they have learned can be applied in the context of the English planning system.
