Have a Grow Day is back for 2022 – get your community together to celebrate all the wonderful work that you do!

Have a Grow Day is a celebration of community growing taking place at gardens and farms all over the UK, and you are part of it. We want to bring all our members together for a second year running to celebrate the fantastic work you do, and also help you bring new visitors and volunteers to your site.

So how can you take part? All SF&G members can take place in HAGD – whether you’re a community garden, city farm, CSA scheme or care farm, or anything in between

You could run guided tours, plant sales or gardening sessions, but you know your space and community best, so the activities you run on the day are up to you! We also know that some of you won’t be able to open on that day (for example if you’re a school farm), so if you want to run a HAGD event in the week running up to the big day, or even just take part online, then that’s fine by us as well.

Follow these four simple steps to get growing with us on June 18th:

• Register your event on our website and appear on our national Have a Grow Day map! (if you’re not a member you can sign up for FREE!)
• Use our templates and graphics to plan and promote your event – you’ll be sent a link to access these once you’ve registered
• Use the hashtag #haveagrow
• Most importantly – have fun and enjoy the celebrations!
