FSC Tollymore Teacher Training

Tuesday 12 June 2018

FSC Tollymore, Co. Down

Visit FSC Tollymore this June for an engaging and useful day of training on Outdoor Learning and Fieldwork for Secondary Teachers.

The day will introduce some general themes on outdoor learning such as its benefits and risk assessments, before participants move on to a focused session of their choice on either biology, geography or GIS.

Organiser FSC Project Officer Mark O’Connor said: “This should be a really useful, lively and buzzing event for teachers.  There will be plenty of time outdoors during the day with a range of skills and techniques they can take back to school.  We are also delighted to be able to offer anyone who attends, a 20% discount on their next school group booking with FSC in Northern Ireland.”

The event takes place on 12th June and is £40 per person to include lunch.
