8.00pm Climate Change in Artic Greenland – with Brian Black

Year after year, wildlife photographer, filmmaker, TV presenter, sailor and explorer Brian Black has been drawn to the remote, pristine wilderness and forbidding shores of Greenland.  In this talk, illustrated by a superb gallery of photographers gathered over seven Artic expeditions, Brian will try to explain the appeal of this dramatic land – the chance to drink in the wild grandeur, to photograph the wildlife, to navigate a coastline that few if any people have ever seen before and, above all, to record the stark evidence of the effects of climate change.
