Climate Change: The People’s Story

Tuesday 23 November 2021 - 25/11/21

Online

About this event

Join Nerve Centre and Climate NI for a series of informal recorded online conversations on how Climate Change is affecting you and your daily life.

We want to hear your stories, experiences, thoughts and solutions to the Climate Crisis, so that we can share your voice with the public in an upcoming exhibition at the Tower Museum.

How will it work?

  • You will take part in an online workshop via Zoom, to hear how Climate Change has and will impact on the Derry City & Strabane District Council area.
  • You will give your views on what this means to you, your family, friends and future generations.
  • You will take part in an informal, facilitated conversation with other people who are interested in the effects that Climate Change is having locally.
  • Your voice will be recorded for a Climate archive that will form part of an upcoming exhibition at the Tower Museum.
  • You will be invited to an in–person event at Nerve Centre on 27th November to see some of the exhibits up close, and to take part in an interactive World Café all about Climate Change. A climate friendly and delicious lunch will be provided!

When will it happen?

We are offering two themed sessions to two different age groups, you are welcome to join one or both. Each session will begin with a talk by experts from Climate NI before opening up to a recorded facilitated conversation.
