Belfast Festival of the Circular Economy / Re(ACT)

Tuesday 2 November 2021 - 12/11/21

Multiple events online & in–person

We invite you to RE[act]…

RE[act] is a completely new festival, which seeks to inspire a more sustainable Belfast. It takes place at the same time as COP26, and we’ve aligned our thinking with their main themes, to help integrate Northern Ireland into the global conversation.

Our keynote address, from global expert Carol Lemmens, is how to create a more circular city, moving from use and dispose to redesign and repurpose. We’ve then put on a series of events to help re–imagine everything we do, from food to fashion, and from transport to the built environment, from finance to community empowerment.

Why not pick a theme that interests you most, or explore the full calendar of events in more detail? Then please take the next step and sign up to this exciting new journey. Join us as we rethink how we use our resources and reimagine how we develop our city. Our aim is that individuals, organisations and government will all come together to RE[act] for a sustainable Belfast.
