Archaeology for Children Programme

Oxford Island

The ‘Archaeology for Children Programme’ will educate children (8 to 11 year olds) in some of the techniques that Archaeologists use to discover the past.

Day 1 will focus on fossils, dinosaurs and early man.

Day 2 will look at Vikings, Christians and World Wars

As children will be working with plaster and mud, old clothes and sturdy footwear should be worn £5 per child per day.
