Colin Glen Trust

Colin Glen Trust is a commercially viable cross-community organisation committed to the development and management of the Colin River Valley from its source to the Lagan benefiting the community through: promoting application and use of natural resources of the Glen; the provision of leisure facilities; and the creation of employment and the provision of training.

Colin Glen Trust is made up of Colin Valley Golf Complex, a social economy project, and Colin Glen Forest Park. The Trust provide many services, including:

  • Leisure Activities
  • Environmental Education (nursery, primary, secondary, tertiary and community groups)
  • Volunteering Opportunities
  • Heritage
  • Training

Colin Glen Trust is honored to be the first community led park in Northern Ireland to have won the Civic Trusts’ prestigious Green Flag Award for two years running.  The Green Flag award is a testament to the Trusts commitment to the community and the environment.
