Aims

Decisions made during the design process can have a major impact on the amount of materials used and waste created during the construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects and assets.

Tackling this wastage at the design stage is an integral part of a good Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP), and can also enable significant environmental and cost benefits to be achieved.

These interactive one-day workshops will equip you with the understanding, practical tools, and technical design solutions to identify and implement opportunities for designing out waste in your projects.
