Plant you Tree for the Jubilee

Whitehead Diamond Jubilee Wood

Celebrate the Queen’s historic 2012 Diamond Jubilee and help plant six million trees! Carrickfergus Borough Council and the Woodland Trust invite you to make your mark at Northern Ireland’s ‘Diamond Wood’ – land just outside Whitehead.

Tree planting arts and crafts, storytelling: face painting and more! All free of charge.

Wrap up warm.  Bring stout footwear and an spade (if you have one!) Children under 16 must be accompanied by and adult.

Park at Blackhead Path or Whitehead Recreational Grounds and take the free shuttle bus.
