Ulster Architectural Heritage Society. The UAHS is a charity working in all aspects of the built environment. The UAHS mission statement is: “Promoting appreciation and enjoyment of good architecture of all periods and encouraging the conservation, restoration and re–use of Ulster’s built heritage to regenerate and sustain our communities”. The UAHS gives advice on policy and guidance on all aspects of planning and built heritage. We regularly consult on draft policy and produce our own papers and recommendations. The UAHS is also provides education and skills training, through our Home & Dry series for both building professionals and building owners. We also often provide advice on planning disputes and act as a watchdog and 3rd part campaigner in applications which could be deemed to harm the built heritage.
